About Rochester Fandom!

This site was created in April 2004 to give fans in the Rochester area a centralized place to discuss all forms of fandom (sci-fi, fantasy, comics, anime, etc) and share ideas. More specifically to provide a place for people to brainstorm about the future of conventions in our city and to help advertise Slanted Fedora's Sept 2004 convention at the Rochester Museum & Science Center. This site will also become a place to share stories and photos of past conventions attended by Rochestarians.

RochesterFandom.com was created by Darren & Nicky Blum from Greece, NY. They regularly travel to 3-4 conventions a year in various cities around the continent. Check out the photo galleries for pictures from some of those cons.
